With Easter just past, I realized that singledom has its benefits. Holidays always provide some stress, especially with preparation. When you are single, no one expects you to host the festivities...ever. I did host Thanksgiving once, and it wasn't bad, but I really enjoy the lack of cleaning, before and after, and the lack of preparation, a full house, or in my case, a full apartment.
There are still the less than awesome parts of holidays, being the only one of your siblings without a significant other, no kids to surprise with holiday goodies...but honestly, the good outweighs the bad!
